Found the most bizarre and complicated scam. I met someone on a dating site. Her pictures were too good to be true. I immediately thought it was the dating site itself just trying to get you to sign up monthly. The problem is that she was very very nice and every time I thought she was a scammer, she would send me a selfie exactly when I asked and it would be perfectly fitting to the conversation. She would be doing exactly as she said she was doing and it was the exact same person that was in all the pictures. This was a legit person talking to me and the pictures WERE the person I was speaking to.

3 days in we are discussing crypto and she is just casually telling me that she is a successful trader. I mention that I would love to trade with her. She sends me a link to a trading site that looks legit. I immediately Google it and it does not show up at all. The site has no 2 factor authentication. It has a link to put money in and has overly convenient link to all the main exchanges so you can easily send money to whatever this site is.

I'm skeptical. I've been skeptical since this girl that is way too hot for me began talking to me. But she has been nothing but legit the entire time. She's not pushing me to anything. She is providing all the things that make me feel safe.

Then her English starts to suffer. She gets pushier about me joining the site. She wants to know how much crypto I have. She starts challenging me. She says she can't understand why I won't just transfer this small amount of eth to the account so I can trade with her. I know that if I Google a crypto exchange specifically and it does not show up in the results, AND does not have 2 factor authentication it's probably not legit. She gets pushier...

I finally say that she should transfer a little bit of eth to my account so we can trade together and she gives up and disappears.

This is the most elaborate and legitimate appearing scam I've seen. If she's too pretty for you. Just know that something is wrong. If you're being pressured to sign up for something. Google it and see what comes up. If Google won't show it to you, it's absolutely a scam. I literally had to tell a pretty girl that was being incredibly forthcoming and nice that I don't believe what she's telling me because she harmlessly told me which trading site she prefers. Only when I looked at the site and realized that it was a little too quick and convenient and mysteriously absent from Google searches did I realize she was scamming me.

I'm guessing she does very well scamming people on dating sites. She is REALLY good. Always be vigilant if someone asks you to put your crypto anywhere but where it is. No one should ever ask how much you have. If someone sends you a link of any kind... do not click that shit before googling the link first. The link was legit. It was just ezdan.com. nothing weird about it at all. The website looks legit. It shows you all the current crypto prices. NOTHING stood out as scam except for how easy every detail was. Signing up for an exchange should have 2 factor authentication and should not provide you quick links to transfer money to it. Every step should he difficult. Difficulty equates to safety.

Just don't discuss crypto with anyone probably or ever click any link that anyone ever sends you.
