How old were you guys when you invested in your first crypto? How did you get into crypto? I am 16 right now.

Currently I am 16 and it feels like a blessing that my parents allowed me to invest in crypto. I actually started with $100 and made a bet on shiba inu, but guess what I came out with a 110% profit. But I know meme coins are risky and I am looking for crypto that are long term holds. I currently have a good amount to work with. Which cryptos do you think are long term hold material? Like I'll be happy if I come out with $5000 in the next 5 years. But with cryptos crazy volatility, that sum could be much higher or lower, all depends on mother bitcoin.
