I don’t get the hate for Coinbase given the news this year

Folks keep getting wrecked by these criminals operating overseas. Do you really trust those other firms? I wont name firms, but you have no freaking clue what they are using your funds for. They can walk away with your money and you have very few options to get your money back.

Coinbase operates with open auditable books, registered with multiple regulators. I don’t get why you would risk putting your money overseas. (Unless you want crazy derivatives). I have been a CB customer since 2016.

Yes yes, I know you will say CEXs are evil, not all of us want to operate self custodial wallets.
