If most people would just ignore crypto influencers and shitcoins crypto space would be much better. For them even bad publicity is good thing, so even by making negative posts and comments you actually promote them.

Half of power all those shitcoins, memecoins, shills, scams and crypto influencers have is cause we, people that will never touch those things spend time and effort to actively talk about them, every new scam or shitcoin happen, every time some influencer makes money on greedy people, this subreddit and crypto space will make tens posts about it. Most don't understand that by doing that we unwillingly help them. Even if you want to warn people or joke about it you spread the news. For scammers and shillers all publicity is good. They don't care what you talk as long as you talk. More you talk more recognition they get and more clueless victims fall for their shenanigans.

Even if posts, tweets an comments are not positive all publicity is good publicity, it is exactly what those people want you to do. It is simple social media trick, people see video on yt, or tik tok and they comment complaining or retweet it to show they are against and to show their superiority. They think they are against, but they actually make it more popular. Celebrities and politicians use controversy, gossips and dramas that way, businesses use it too, also in crypto it is common. By controversy people profit.

People make dumbest name for shitcoins, they talk silliest things or do stupid mistakes. All to get hype. Often best way to fight such things is completly ignoring their existence. Hype dies, no one spend money or get scammed, if no one know about it. Crypto rules are simple - don't buy shitcoins. We don't have to promote every new shitcoin by saying "look at this shitcoin X, it did x1000 profit, but it is a scam and you should never buy it", cause obviously many people will seen just that it is popular and invest.

Ignoring issues is not always best idea, you can't ignore serious illness, bills or burning home. But many small problems and minor obstacles become big cause people spend too much talking and thinking about them. If not all visibility those crypto influencers and shitty projects get from negativity they would't be as much popular. We tell about being safe and careful in crypto space all the time. We don't need to give publicity to everything bad and tell "I told you so", cause by doing so we most likely do more harm than good.
