This is the first ever sponsorship of a major sporting event decided by open governance on the blockchain. Polkadot holders voted Via Polkassembly to sponsor Conor Daly in the upcoming race. This is a pretty historical event for blockchain technology, regardless of what chain did it. This is really cool to see.
