Latest Moons Development- Testing on Anytrust- Beta Mainnet .

Last post was about the recent Moons development that the community found (r/Cryptocurrency Telegram Group).

The post showed evidence that Reddit Developers are testing Moons on Anytrust Devnet.

Yesterday I found that Reddit Devs address is test on Anytrust Mainnet(Beta)!

Their address bridged 0.7 ETH from Ethereum Mainnet to Anytrust Beta Mainnet and initiated few smart contracts and Giga Points (Known for being test points).

Why It’s Important?

Reddit is paying real ETH for gas fees, that means we are very close to the final product and Mainnet.

Why The Gas Fees Are still High??

AnyTrust has 3 modes:

• Turbo (Data Availability Service-DAS)

• Rollup

• Failure Mode

Ideally, AnyTrust will run on Turbo mode which is like offchain settlement where there is almost 0 gas fees!

When there are problems with the Validators, it will fallback to Rollups or even Failure Mode.

At the moment, DAS is not up yet so all the transactions will run on Rollup Chain (Same gas fees as Arbitrum One).

What Next?

• Arbitrum starting DAS

• Arbitrum announcing who are the Validators on Anytrust (Hopefully Reddit is one of them.

• Goeril & Ethereum Merge (Early September)

• Reddit upgrading the current testnet to include DAS / Anytrust.

Reddit might use Arbitrum’s Anytrust Chain instead of creating their own chain- no info yet

• Reddit Announcing their DAS Validators

• Moons Mainnet

My Own Prediction

Moons are on Mainnet for more than 2 years, on Layer 2 for a year now and it’s almost time for mainnet.

If I had to pick a date for mainnet I’d say: A day after the Merge (September 2022) and anyday upto 6 months later (March 2023).
