Please stop following ‘Crypto Influencers’

There’s another post today about a pump and dump shitcoin from a so called ‘influencer’ @DannyCrypt. And he had a history of doing so. Telling his followers to do one thing while he does the other to profit.

The key thing here is these people/bots are there to make money from your actions.

If you are going to blindly follow people who have no qualifications or a background of successful experience in the industry and financials then you deserve no sympathy if you get stung.

And are also part of the reason why governments are looking at getting some sort of regulation in place - because people can’t be trusted and need protection from themselves.

If you were investing in the stock market would you look to someone like Warren Buffet (who’s stance on Crypto you may disagree with) but who for the most part has been largely successful and well respected or some random TikTok account set up a year ago?

I’m sure there are some actual good accounts out there for analysis, just like there are for finances and such.

But if someone is there telling you what to do think about how they will benefit. Most likely at your expense. And it’s sad to see people get scammed time and time again.
