The Metaverse isn’t for us…

I see a ton of people on here saying “Who wants to live in another reality” or “This whole idea is a flop” blah blah blah..

Well I’m just here to tell you that it’s not here for people that are adults right now. This is an idea that the younger generation absolutely understands and is fascinated by. These are things that are years and years from coming to fruition and if you can’t see why there’s interest in it, then you’re not stepping out of your own shoes.

This younger generation grew up with a computer in their pocket from age 10 on. They’re so integrated with these things that it’s not outside their boundaries to spend hours and hours in an alternate reality each and every day. They’d be fascinated by it.

Whether you think it’s going to play a positive role or not in their life and mental health is another discussion. If that’s the reason you can’t get behind it and invest, I completely understand. To say it is something nobody will be interested in, however, isn’t an argument.

In conclusion, try to put yourself into the younger generations shoes and see if you can understand why the Metaverse could possibly be the next big thing in video games and entertainment. Then decide if it’s something you’re willing to invest in. Don’t let your own personal biases be the reason you miss out.
