The possibility of a Crypto decoupling from stock market and its consequences.

The past months there has been a massive shout because Crypto seemed to be boring after being highly correlated with the stock market. On a scale from 0 to 1, for days and weeks it was like +0.95 and you just had to look on stocks to see where Crypto would be now. But what would happen if crypto is not correlated to stocks anymore and decoupled.

The Stock market correlation has something to do with the current macro uncertainty and levels of global fear crypto never saw before. So crypto right now is just testing out its position is this kind of risky markets. A decoupling could be a consequence of that as even in the last the days the correlation has dropped to 0.34. That's big.

The consequences would be that Crypto would be trading more in comparison to commodities such as gold. This would obviously make Crypto a big and possibly the biggest hedge for people against the turmoil of stock market and bonds. And thus boost the prices, how high? No idea maybe just 58k and done or new ATHs.

This is all just a wishful scenario obviously that likely won't happen just like that but it's good to know all the possibilities.
