What is some noob things you did at the start that you cringe at now?

So as I was going through my stuff the other day I seen lonely Compound. It isn't much but it never been moved.

Why?

Well, it is because when I moved it into a wallet I didn't know about gas fees, layer 1, or anything else. And the amount is just too low for me to recover from.

For me, now it is a reminder that

1. At a point I didn't know a lot of what I know now
2. THERE IS A TON I DON'T KNOW NOW!!!!

What is some noob things you did at the start that you cringe at now?

Note I'm not talking about sitting there for days figuring out your ETH address is also your same address as other things, BUT it is on completely different blockchains. I think we all had that moment, and I personally had to explain it to given people 5 times in a row because it didn't click and at that stage you likely are already being overwhelmed.
