I received 5 "just re connect your wallet" scam messages after posting to r/Coinbase. I reported all of them, and Reddit denied any of the accounts were breaking the rules.

Good news guys, it's totally within reddit's rules to phish for unsuspecting crypto noobs and attempt to steal their funds, right here on Reddit! To be fair, the messages I reported were all just the "openers", usually along the lines of Hey mate I had the same problem. I can help you fix it, just need to re authenticate your wallet! I get that that may seem innocent enough to someone unfamiliar with this scam, but you'd hope that Reddit would be all over it. Their platform is facilitating so much crime you'd think they'd at least take steps to remove the worst and most blatant bad actors, but I can say factually that they do not, even when they are reported.
