It’s almost creepy how Deus Ex, a game from 2 decades ago, predicted a lot of stuff going on now, including blockchain

I remember getting up on a lazy Saturday morning, eating my choco cereals and picking up a freshly printed PC GAMER magazine with a review of Deus Ex, a long awaited game that was released in early 2000s. Back then the game was superb. It had sci fi stuff, rpg elements, superb story and cool stuff in it. Noone even remotely thought it would become almost prophetic. Fast forward to 2021, I replayed the game. And wow…this game literally predicted both blockchain and our shitstain of an economy in 2021. From the “bad guys” telling the about massive corporations (think Amazon, Apple etc) paying a fraction of what little people pay for taxes: It's all in the numbers And Taxes that corporations pay... All the way to consolidation theory with a plan of weakening individuals over a time without them realizing it. I urge you to play this. Youll find so many references to nowadays issues that its almost creepy. This, released in 2000 game, predicted that human race is unable to lead the world effectively and fairly so the best altetnative would be a blockchain-based artificial intelligence led government in order to take out the human greed and corruption.
