Selling is not hard, being greedy is just too easy.

I see a lot of posts & threads with people too scared to sell because of how the market works & because of its occasional difficulties. Here are a few rules I learned after investing into crypto for over 4 years (since 2017). Always sell percentages of your position (this also goes for buying), don't sell all of it at once. If you don't do it, you'll always have that shitty feeling in case it goes up. I usually sell a small percentage once it goes up around 5-10% to take profit and to treat myself, you're right if it goes up higher I'd be missing out on profit but whatever, I already made profit and have 90% left in it. I'd rather save a bit than lose it all. Do NOT time the market, this will almost never help you and be your loss, play it safe. If you know you have shaky hands do not check your portfolio too often. This will generate fear and cause you to panic sell your entire position at once in fear of losing it all (reference to 1) as you have made no profit from it by selling smaller percentages. Crypto is volatile, and that's how it is. Bitcoin has almost ended in an uptrend every year and your panic sells will only damage your portfolio.
