Anyone actually pay for things in crypto??

Is there anyone really giving up crypto to pay for things? I so far haven't seen anyone irl do it or heard of anyone paying for anything in crypto. I keep seeing mainstream adoption for example the GameStop news of accepting some cryptos but I really doubt anyone would give up btc to buy the next call of duty.

I'd honestly be surprised if more than 10% of people on this sub have even really considered using crypto to actually pay for things.

Maybe I'm just in it for the returns but I really don't see why I'd use cyrpto over fiat right now.

Edit: I am trying to talk to everyone but I'm currently at the fiat mine.
