When is a good time to take profits? near new ATH's?

As a hodler.... I've seen a lot of my investments get 150%+ returns only to crash n burn down to 20-30% over time. Assuming it's a high cap coin should I just start pulling out my intial investments around ATH? I've noticed that there is a lot of selling pressure on MATIC now that it's pushing the old ATH. I watched CRO go from .99 to .50 and regret not selling, I'd hate to have the same happen to MATIC...

When you guys generally take profits? Not asking for financial advice just would like to hear others opinions.
