You probably should have multiple wallets. It cost you nothing, but provide much more security. Don't use your main wallet where all your crypto is stored, so even if you will get scammed loses will be minimal or zero.

Many people have just one wallet which can be huge mistake if you want to both store your coins there and use it. Scams are everywhere. Writing your wallet's adress on some site or connecting your wallet to shady exchange? It is dumb anyway, but if you want check it pleas don't use wallet where you have your crypto. Transactions or dust attacks? Connecting wallet to some dex? Just have empty wallet for all shitcoins and risky things you do. Even if it will be emptied who cares?

Especially if you have huge portfolio divide it between few wallets, it is much safer than having just one. Crypto is open book, everyone can check how much coins you have on blockchain. It is not secret. Especially if they can connect your wallet to for example your social media, which is not hard if you participate in eg airdrops they can target you in many ways.

Creating new wallet is like less than 10 minutes, you basically just need to write down another seed phrase, it is also free. Not much effort to make your coins much secure , especially if you are new investor and can't recognize all scams yet.
